The questions I get asked most
If you are considering me for a role, these are almost certainly the things you want to know. Anything not covered here, just ask.
What are your qualifications?
A Bachelor of Business Administration from Ace Institute of Management (2021), and six years working in procurement inside the Nepali construction sector. The BBA matters here more than it might elsewhere: procurement is a commercial role before it is a logistical one, and the degree is where the accounts and management grounding comes from.
Do you have the accounts knowledge this role needs?
Yes. My degree is in business administration, and the day-to-day of procurement is commercial work — comparative rate analysis, negotiating payment terms, structuring and tracking supplier credit, and reporting committed spend against what the site has actually consumed.
On both the projects I have run, credit management was the hardest part of the job. That is an accounts problem wearing a procurement job title.
What management experience do you have?
I have run the procurement function on a 54.6 MW hydropower project and on a Government of Nepal highway package delivered through a joint venture — the latter requiring commitments to be coordinated across two partner companies rather than one.
That work is team management and vendor management together: coordinating with site teams on what the programme needs, with management on what the company can carry, and with a supplier base that has to stay intact for the length of the build.
Which projects have you worked on?
Two major programmes:
Super Dordi Hydroelectric Project (54.6 MW, Lamjung) — procurement for Bajra Guru Construction Company, for client People’s Hydro Power Limited. Completed 2023.
Hulaki Rajmarga, Dang — procurement for the Bajra Guru — Kancharraam Joint Venture on the Government of Nepal postal highway programme. Ongoing.

Can you provide references?
Yes. References from previous management are available on request — please get in touch and I will arrange them.
What kind of roles are you looking for?
Procurement Manager roles, and General Manager or senior management appointments with A and B class construction companies. Procurement is where my experience is deepest; management is the direction I am building towards, and the BBA was taken with that in mind.
I am also available for procurement engagements on a project basis.
Where are you based, and when are you available?
Based in Kathmandu, working across Nepal — my project experience spans Lamjung in the hills and Dang in the Terai, so site-based work outside the valley is familiar ground.
Available Monday to Friday. I work in Nepali, English, and Hindi, which covers most supplier and client relationships in the Nepali construction market.
